Jo Beet Gaye Phir Woh Jamaane Nahi Aate,
Dost Hi Hote Hain Doston Ke Humdard,
Koyi Farishte Yehan Saath Nibhane Nahi Aate.

होंठों पे उल्फत के फ़साने नहीं आते,
जो बीत गए फिर वो ज़माने नहीं आते,
दोस्त ही होते हैं दोस्तों के हमदर्द,
कोई फ़रिश्ते यहाँ साथ निभाने नहीं आते।
